786 'A Snow Shoe Outing' Panorama, BC
Oil on canvas 32h40w
Framed 36h 44w
Katherine is very close with her siblings. Anne-Marie, one of her sisters often goes to Panorama, BC. Anne-Marie often sends messages to Katherine in the form of landscape photographs during snow shoe hikes. They inspire each other and Katherine loved how pristine and fresh the snow was in this instance. The tree lines are different from what we see in Ontario and Katherine fell in love with the blues, the little saplings, the shape of the spruces, and how light pings off the trees at the back. This same photograph was used to inspire Katherine’s ‘769: Light snow toppings’ painting.
Framed in 'Michelangelo' espresso-coloured 2" wood frame.
Painting #786
