The Winter Tide Warmth series was inspired by the feeling of ‘new beginnings’ that seasonal changes bring. Katherine wanted to capture the feeling of winter ending and spring beginning. She started with a smaller painting and loved the feeling and colours of it, so continued painting some more pieces which evolved into a series. Katherine loves the snow on the trees and the light the snow brings on a sunny day. The warm colours remind her of sun shining through stained glass.

Framed in 'Michelangelo' espresso-coloured 2" wood frame.
