Clara Kim

Clara Kim was born in South Korea and has fond memories of her childhood in GoHeung (고흥) catching and feeding frogs in her grandmother’s pond with chickens wandering around as freely as children. In her art works, she takes the mystifying nature of human relationships, and projects them onto these animals and more. Clara paints with a knife rather than a brush honouring an oriental style with a western expression, thus creating a unique style unlike any other.
