This painting was inspired by my friends photo of her lakeside home in Perth. I was captivated by the colour and fascinated that in just a moments time darkness would overcome. I felt a new side of me as an artist painting this one. I learned that painting from within really has no limitations, and further felt compelled to push the boundary of colour.
