The ‘Backcountry Ski’ series is based on a photo taken by Katherine’s friend Cynthia Toze, who is from Western Canada and loves the outdoors. She was back country skiing and captured a photo of Hanging Lake in Callaghan Valley, Whistler, BC. Katherine painted three works of art using a warm colour palette with many blues and greens.
Framed in 'Michelangelo' espresso-coloured 2" wood frame.
