In 2018, Katherine went to Sooke on Vancouver Island in BC to visit her son, Cameron, and was joined by her daughter Tori. Cameron was at Westcoast Adventure College and had a break in his studies. The three of them went on a long hike and were in their element feeling nothing but happiness. The painting has such a joyful array of colour in it because of this shared feeling. Also to note, Vancouver skies are pretty all the time and have tons of movement in them.

Framed in 'Michelangelo' espresso-coloured 2" wood frame.
