'Light Snow Topping' Panorama, BC
Oil on canvas 20h 30w
Framed 24h 34w
This painting is a different interpretation of Katherine’s ‘A Snow Shoe Outing’. For this one, she wanted to use a limited colour palette. Notice how the sky and snow are meeting with similarity and connect. When looking at the tree line, it’s a reminder that there’s more out there to discover. Katherine likes the paint strokes on the trees and particularly that the fallen ones hold their own beauty. Whether to create archways or act as a gentle reminder that the winter has been a long one, they give off shape and dimension making it very artistic.
Framed in 'Michelangelo' espresso-coloured 2" wood frame.
